The average cabin temperature during the summer months in Florida can be upwards of 100 degrees. The AC system offers much needed comfort and have become a necessity. Over time and from normal use, the AC system can develop refrigerant leaks, blockages and failed components which will lead to system failure. Some common signs of Potential AC system failure may include:

AC only functions when driving, not when idling
A
Cabin Temperature is only slightly cooler than the outside
A
Hot air blowing out of the cabin vents or no air at all.
A
Lack of pressure when the air blows.
Our Shop is equipped with all the needed tools, equipment, knowledge and experience to quickly and effectively diagnose the problem. Our Basic evaluation of the AC system is included with our Oil Change Specials and includes:

Inspection of the compressor and belts
A
Inspection of the viable AC components for refrigerant leaks
A
Measuring the Interior vent air temp
A
Verifying the AC pressure meets the Manufacturer’s specification.
If a refrigerant leak is occurring from the evaporator which is located under the dashboard and or in the rear
compartment for many minivans, you and your family will be breathing this in.
